The Nationwide PTA’s objective is to make sure that just about all children obtain a quality education, such as arts education. The PTA encourages children to go after their own creative means of expression through taking part in its Reflections Program, a plan that has been in place for almost 4 decades. Students from preschool age via 12th quality are urged to publish artistic functions in six basic places: books, movie manufacturing, music composition, choreography, photography, and visible arts (sketching, collage, painting, printmaking, etc.).

The Reflections Program had been begun in 1969 by Mary Lou Anderson, the president of the Colorado PTA.
